Self-esteem, self-love, self-abnegation, self-blame, selfish, self-confidence, self-compassion, self-forgiveness
First of all, outside of morality and integrity, I want you to try and eliminate the word "selfish" from your vocabulary. Is it selfish to want love, compassion and forgiveness for yourself? I don't think so (despite what my ancestors might have told me).
Becoming mindful of what we choose for ourSELF is a great act of self-care. And when we take better care of ourselves, we can take better care of others.
